Calm and quiet….

on the loch shore. A pair of Sandpipers flew off silently, two pairs of nesting Greylag geese paddled off towards the Castle. Then the lovely singing of a Ring Ouzel broke the peace, but couldn’t see him. Further along this bonny Wheatear kept an eye on me and a pair of Oystercatchers dozed on a rock . At last ,caught sight of the Black throated divers on the far side of the loch. The pair were feeding together but although got shots they were too far away for a decent picture. Good to see them back!
