An Average Day
Things have been pretty normal for Little Man and myself today. We dragged ourselves out of bed and headed to nursery. Little Man was happy to be there and had a lovely morning.
Whilst Little Man was at nursery, I did some housework. I mopped and cleaned the kitchen. Then when I went to collect Little Man, I took some clothes of Caleb's to the recycling point for him. He's leaving the country and has a lot to do, so he left a large bag of clothes with me, which he hadn't had time to get rid of. I was happy to help him dispose of them, because there's a clothes recycling point just up the road from us. So I did that on route to collecting Little Man.
Little Man had a health check this afternoon, and we got a lift with Jeanine, of the ladies from church church as her daughter, Sarah, had a health check today as well and only half an hour before Little Man's. We arrived to discover that we were the only ones there so Little Man went in straight after Sarah. The meeting went well. Little Man is slightly below average, but I'm guessing that's based on the Dutch average hight for a child, and given that Little Man is only a quarter Dutch, it makes sense. His weight is average, though.
We came home just as the rain started and it's been raining on and off since then. I'm grateful we didn't need to bike. We're now waiting for Caleb to come round with dinner. He's spending the night with us as he's going to be leaving tomorrow, I think. Since it's Tuesday, Little Man doesn't have nursery tomorrow, so he can stay up later tonight than he normally would be allowed to.
