It’s raining again!
The weather this morning was quite soggy when we went out on our morning walk. So much so that even the Fisherrow Fishermen were taking cover under brollies. Here’s the narrative from the nearby plaque:
The two stone fishermen have stood looking out to Fisherrow Harbour and the sea since June 2014.
They were created by local Stonemason Gardner Molloy to celebrate the heritage and culture of Fisherrow where fishing remains close to people's hearts. The work was commissioned by Fisherrow Waterfront Group with the support of East Lothian Council.
The fishermen are also traffic bollards keeping Fisherrow Promenade safe for pedestrians and cyclists.
