Scone: Part 3
You may remember that Angela and I started an afternoon tea tour a while back. Today was the third instalment.
We went to Cafe Dijon in Hyndland in Glasgow. This was a deal where we paid £11 instead of £19.50. You may be thinking, how do you get a good afternoon tea for two for that price? And you'd be right!
It wasn't great. In fact it only scored 20/40. We weren't even full when we came away from it, in fact after a wander round the shops we even stopped for a milkshake. Quite disappointing indeed!
As always it was really lovely to see Angela again. And it was nice to escape the tourists in Edinburgh.
It'll be a while before the next afternoon tea instalment though, as I have my self imposed sugar restriction going on again in September in the lead up to the marathon. We're going to Scrumptiousness in Edinburgh next time - I hope it lives up to the name!
In case you missed the blips of the last parts of the tour, here they are again:
1st instalment
2nd instalment
