Done Deal

I informed the boss this morning of my decision to retire at the end of May.

He could have shown more disappointment in my opinion, but there you are.

Getting used to the idea has become quite enjoyable. No more reports to write, parent's meetings to endure etc etc.

I shall miss some aspects of it though. Like the money. After all, I have been doing it for 44 years.

But I think that's enough for anyone!
