My Dear Princess and Dear Fellow,

Briar was in playful mood today. She asked for "upbeat" songs and so I sent her a playlist which contained, "The Number One Song In Heaven" by Sparks and "Break My Stride" by Matthew Wilder.

For some reason this sent her down a rabbit hole. The next thing I knew, she was talking about the RUDE version of "Living Next Door To Alice".

I was quite surprised by this. I thought that was a purely British thing.

But this got us talking about other such songs. Briar told me there's a rude version of the song "Wagon Wheel". 

So I shared with her the RUDE lyric version of "Mony Mony" which Caro educated me on, years ago. 

If you don't know it, it goes like this:

And then I told her about a song called "Am I Ever Gonna See Your Face Again?"

And whenever that question is asked in the song, everyone has to shout back (loudly):

AM I EVER GONNA SEE YOUR FACE AGAIN?
[NO WAY! GET EFFED! EFF OFF!]

As you can see, this made Briar very happy.

"Let it all out Briar," commented Olly. "I'm finding all of this very cathartic."

For me too. I almost forgot about having a cold I was laughing so hard.
