A Bit Gloomy

The future does look a bit gloomy and I have found it all rather overwhelming.

I can't say my birthday was anything I wish to remember, even though we did meet some friends at the Flying Squirrel for tapas last night.

But looking on the bright side, it has meant that one decision has been that bit easier to make.

I shall retire from classroom teaching at the end of May.

Whether I like it or not.
