Rottnest Island…..

….there’s a sub-variant of Quokka here which looks very odd. It seemed friendly enough though.

To Rottnest (rat nest) Island for the day. We hired bikes and did a leisurely 25km pootle round the beaches and bays. More ‘ordinary’ Quokkas were observed.

I think we’ll just hide in a dark room this evening. I’m feeling a bit cooked.
