Trip to Fairlie

I seem to have been out most of the day, not complaining though.
Early supermarket shop, home to unpack, a quick cofffee with Doug, gather up my photography gear and away to meet up with our Tuesday photography group.  The weather rather inclement but we're a stoic lot.

Arriving up there, about 3/4 hour drive we did some photography for a while then off to the world famous (I mean that) Fairlie Bakery renown for their amazing pies.  The tiny bakery was seething with customers, wee managed to find a table for two, grabbing two more chairs to squeeze in for all of us. Replenished, we cruised around the town taking all sorts, I have done some extras....gosh, its only April and I've used 50 of my extras.
Main - rural town of Fairlie's main street
extra 1 - I just can't help myself
extra 2 - us, minus oldTimer who had another engagement today
extra 3 - this one for freespiral
extra 4 - a pretty tree in McLean Park
extra 5 - a small section of *Peace Avenue
extra 6 - Fairlie's McLean Park
* Fairlie Peace Avenue currently consists of some 500 oak trees, planted to commemorate the signing of the Peace Treaty which ended the First World War and to commemorate Fairlie and districts fallen soldiers.

12 mm of rain overnight.  I'll catch uo tomorrow.
