Mahonia

Dry cool morning, then it rained most of the afternoon. All the new growth is appreciating the moisture.  A short walk by George V park mid afternoon - the final work on the N75 path has been done. 

Well judged landscaping - there's a temporary but good for several years fence on the right of the view between the playpark and the new drainage, with a line of mahonia which will grow up to be an effective barrier. Ferns interplanted with the mahonia to make a base. The actual cycle path is to the left of the black fence. Here's what it looked like before this final stage.

Made another round the block walk later to collect a delivery, still in the rain. 11C,  felt colder, West wind.
