Lower Lewis River Falls

Early this morning my friend S and I loaded our camera gear and lunch in her car and drove about an hour and a half to the trailhead to Lower Lewis River Falls.  This area has had so much rain and snow melt this year that the river was very high.  We could not get down to any flat ground to be level with the falls.  We had to set up and take photos above the falls where there is a fence.  I would like to go back when the water level is a little lower and find a trail down to the river.  We did hike to Middle and North Lewis River Falls as well, a pretty hike but once again no clear view of the falls.  A super fun day and a great picnic and hiking spot.
