Heartbreaking News

Logged onto Facebook this evening to check an industry group page about upcoming film productions. Then a quick browse of friends’ Facebook posts on the feed to see what people are up to…

First the happy posts… my bro celebrating his sixth wedding anniversary, a friend announcing her first grandson, my cousin’s cousin getting married.

A hopeful post…. a friend’s wife has completed her last round of radiotherapy treatment for Bowel Cancer.

Then the heart wrenching posts… a friend’s wife’s mum has passed away, another friend’s beloved cats have both died, another friend announced her step son has died after years of struggling with drug addiction. Finally an ex colleague has said goodbye to a 16 week old baby boy who was born sleeping.

Feeling utterly heartbroken for so many sad times among friends and acquaintances. Keep each other close and cherish each other.
