48 years!

Wednesday 9 April
Today, we were celebrating our 48th wedding anniversary -:where did all those years go? Since Roger’s foot was bothering him a bit yesterday, I suggested we could do a non weight-bearing bike ride, which worked well. We had a beautiful ride, and his foot was none the worse for it. We passed this channel of water with lots of water lilies, and also an alligator on the other side! We also passed by the eagle nest again, where we could see the young and one of the adults.
In the afternoon we spent a few hours on the beach again, before coming in to shower, change, and enjoy a pre-dinner drink on the balcony, before going out for a very good celebratory dinner.
