His fate is sealed…
ICE agents (the gestapo of US Immigration) have been rounding up people willy nilly - grabbing them off the streets (more often than not masked and without ID), from schools, churches, private residences. There seems to be little “thought” or analysis behind these grabs other than a show of extreme force (because nothing is more manly than grabbing a Muslim female student from campus…).
As part of casting their net, they grabbed one guy, Kilmer Abrego Garcia, from his home and, in violation of a federal court order, deported him to the most infamous prison in El Salvador. The regime refused to get him back, even while their lawyer admitted the error and even with an unanimous injunction from all nine members of the Us Supreme Court.
And today, the president of El Salvador was a guest at the White House and said he categorically refused to return Garcia, accusing him of terrorism — a statement that was already debunked. In doing so, he has now provided the regime with a convenient scapegoat “well, what can we do now?!”
Now get this: A hot mic moment captured Trump speaking under his breath with a smirk to El Salvador’s president during their photo opp, saying: “The homegrowns are next. You gotta build about five more places.”
Let that sink in. Trump is now openly fantasizing about sending U.S. citizens, those he deems undesirable or criminal, to foreign mega-prisons like those in El Salvador. He’s not even hiding it. The infrastructure is already being normalized through the unlawful deportation of immigrants like García. The idea now is to expand it.
This is no longer theoretical. As I mentioned in other posts, the regime is already targeting Americans for prosecution, surveillance, or public shaming: from whistleblowers like Miles Taylor to cyber-security officials like Chris Krebs, to entire law firms, to immigrants with no criminal records like García, whose only crime was trusting the legal protections this country claims to uphold.
How does one combat that?
As for Garcia, there are those who think he’s already dead; but even if he’s not yet, his fate is probably worse than death…
