Woodland Presence
Something about masks, isn't there? Apparently Dickens thought them terrifying. I found this one in the house and took it along when my son and I went for a short dander in the woods down at my wife's parents' place in Wexford. I knew it would come in handy as a prop. He was patient enough, though I didn't push him to wear it again after this little session. I am not sure I intended the image to be quite so spooky, though (like Arbus's kid with the toy grenade) I suppose it depends on how you look at it.
