Best of the day

I already did the write up for this blip but it disappeared. Another case for a copy and paste.

This bird is a Lazuli Bunting, the first time I've ever seen one. The wing bars differentiate it from a Western Bluebird.   I was lucky enough to get it as good as I did with it tucked into the trees in the first extra.  The other extra is a phainopepla.  It's much better than the one I blipped a few weeks ago.  You can see both his red eye and sheen more clearly.
That's all I've got.  I wrote a lot more originally.  It's been a good day.
