Priorwood Garden, Melrose

A Friday off and there were visitors to encourage a day trip. Four of us headed down to Abbotsford at Tweedbank, enjoying a look around the house and some time in the sheltered warmth of the walled garden.

Just along the road in Melrose there was lots of blossom in the orchard at Priorwood Garden and the Harmony Garden. It was a perfect afternoon for an ice cream, or in my case Amalfi lemon sorbet.
