On the gruffalo trail

In Hamsterley forest. Lovely place for a stroll and the weather didn't let us down today. Tomorrow looks a little less promising though. Spoon disaster today. Was carving a teaspoon from a piece of apple wood and the bowl of the spoon was probably the neatest I've carved BUT I went too far, can see daylight and that's going to crack when it dries out. May be able to make a hole that looks deliberate and use it for getting pickles and olives out of a jar, fingers crossed.
