On the Janus horse

I've been looking after I today, she's still quarantined due to chicken pox.  We went to the Old Oswestry Racecourse for a walk around the figure of eight path where the horses used to race until 1842.  It's right on the Welsh border (the Offas Dyke path runs through the site) so was a good place for the Welsh and English to socialise and watch the racing.

I is sitting on the Janus Horse sculpture where one horse is looking to Wales and one to England. The remains of the old grandstand are still there (extra).

It was very cold after our sunny spell but a lovely walk with birds singing and lots of wild flowers.

This afternoon we continued withI's sewing project - not much to so now.
