Come By

Kevin, Gordon and I did the recce for the Wild Flower and Photography Walk today. It will take place on 30th April and it is sold out.

It was cooler today and quite blowy, becoming colder as we neared the end.

We enjoyed identifying as many wild flowers as we could, although some did not open today. There was little sun and it was chilly.

On our way back, we saw this collie who was in a training session. He was responding perfectly to the commands. Here you see him responding to “Come By” which sends him in a clockwise circle.

After the others had gone, I made soup from the remnants of the chicken and the stock. It was delicious and there are two portions in the freezer.

I’m listening to Erif Sharaf’s book “10 minutes and 38 seconds in this strange world”. Kay loaned me the book but I want to knit so I’m using the audio version. It is read beautifully.
