Old Things

The eight day in the country.

Temperature about +13. Mostly cloudy, just little sun. A few rain drops. Weak wind from the South.

Window washing. The windows here were last washed almost two years ago, and they weren't dirty even now. A huge difference compared to our windows in Helsinki. In the afternoon we both went to my mother's. It's Easter in the end of the week, and because we'll go back to Helsinki before it, we surprised her with Finnish dessert "Mämmi" to eat it together with her. She likes it a lot and so do we. I've blipped Mämmi here before (Apr 15th, '22).

In the picture there's an old sugar bowl with still older spoon in it on my mother's table. I was wondering with my mother, in high age, where the spoon comes from. Mr S, not young either, is sitting on the sofa, listening. Of all these old things only the sugar bowl is younger than me :)

Today I saw a squirrel in our backyard just in a short trip.
