Broccoli field

Today I went to Carnon Downs and got a couple of things from the garden centre. I had intended to snap something there for the blip but the rain was pelting down. On the drive home I caught sight of this field and was able to stop and walk back to it. I think it is broccoli that has gone to flower but I don't know why the farmer has left it. If possible, I'll go back in the coming days and get a better picture.
