Koala Doctor?

Well I thought my shoulder was pretty much fine after a couple of days of rest. Then I turned over whilst sleeping this morning, something went crunch and it's been feeling terrible all day.

Didn't stop me from heading out to lunch with neighbour W, we went to the local garden centre and then had a potter around the shops.

In the afternoon I booked us into the Glasgow Film Theatre to see 'The Return'. It wasn't in any of the normal cinemas so we had to go to the artsy once instead.  Surprisingly fair prices on the snacks and a nice wee cinema.  The filme was great - it tells the end of the oddessy with Ralph Fiennes as Odysseus.  I really liked their take, no Gods, nothing supernatural, with Odysseus as a bit of a PTSD war survivor, Penelope as the clever woman making things work without letting Odysseus off the hook.  Some brutal realism of how the suitors get dealt with and possibly just a really good modern day relling of the story.  Not sure if you'd be very interested in it though if you weren't familar with the details of the myth.  (Loved the bit with Argos!! Like how they changed it from most of the myth version). I really enjoyed it, though the shoulder was a bit stiff after sitting still for a couple of hours.  Really intrigued to see what Christoper Nolan is going to do with the story later on in the year.

Blip is of the Sauchiehall Stree Tardis, with the possible reincarnation of the Doctor as a small pink koala teddy.
