Goddaughter Julia

Back blipping
Nice to finally meet up with our Norwegian goddaughter Julia, who’s been here to study for 3 months. With our trips away, her trips away, and her studies, this is the first time we’ve been able to meet up. Just in time! We met her at Entença metro station and then all took the bus up to Sarria, where we wandered around and showed her some of the non-touristy corners we like and know from having lived up there for 5 years. Then lunch at Casa Joana, a firm favourite since, gulp, 1993! See Bb’s blip for his spinach with cream short story:

We walked down the hill together and stopped for a gin and tonic on Plaza Concordia. She then left on the metro and we headed to Bauhaus to pick up an item we’d ordered online.

We stayed in at night, with some cheese and olives to nibble on.
