Promise

Both my main blip and the extra represent a promise of joys to come. In the main blip it's the first sign of the real spring I've seen, and I spotted it on an evening walk at the end of a day of garden labours. (I think it's the first blip this year I've tagged "spring".)
In the extra, taken while at one of those garden labours, there is the promise of warmth next winter, or possibly the one after!
