A Passover treat

It was a lovely Passover celebration at cousin Diane's house.  The seder itself was rather long, as that is the way Diane has always done it, but we all enjoyed the reading and the twins did indeed ask the Four Questions, prompted by Manda.  I was so proud of them.  Diane had made salmon for dinner and she kept apart a piece for me which she cooked without salt.  There was also matzo ball soup, gefilte fish, zucchini, and salad, and for dessert home-made macaroons and chocolate-dipped oranges.

What made it really special for me was that I got to spend some quality time with the twins.  We played a questions card game and they asked  me to tell them a story.  I had a hard time thinking one up, but they took what I started and invented the rest of the story themselves.  They are so bright!  They had made Passover cards for all the adults; this is mine, made by Sam.  Notice the bee!  In Extra is a photo of Sam exploring the ceremonial foods of the seder; he has such a wonderfully expressive face.

Cleaners tomorrow, so I've still a lot of work cut out for me before I go to bed.  I'm hoping happiness makes for good sleep.
