Wire Wool

Anyone who has done engineering or stripped paint will have used wire wool, but did anyone know where it came from?

A visit to some beautiful open gardens today revealed the secret.

This was a second visit to these gardens at Bere Mill, and I noticed so much more. In particular there was an interesting selection of sculptures dotted around the informal gardens, lake and river. Well attended but not crowded, I expect a reasonable amount was generated for charity from the National Gardens scheme.
