Latest Arrival

First sighting of a flicker by the house today. Perhaps not coincidentally, also the first sighting of an ant in the house.

A very wet, cold, and generally gross day. Very little motivation to get out even if I wasn't finishing up report cards. I can see why a daffodil might hesitate to bloom in such conditions.
