Coldingham bay
Why have we never been here before...
After a walk round the top of the ancient city wall that envelopes Berwick upon Tweed, we jumped in the car to Coldingham Bay... Walking down the lane to the beach we crested the brow of the hill to be greeted with a beautiful little cove.
A white washed wooden cafe, life guards in their red shorts, flags and even the RNLI practicing their whale rescue...
Plenty of folks out in the water - surfing, playing, canoeing... But still not too busy. Just great.
The wee CEO jumped the waves, before discarding his shorts to get seriously wet. And even more wet when he miss timed a jump. Ice cream made things better...
I'm really glad we went camping. Two amazing discoveries!! Two great days.
Note to self: at least two nice looking bars in The village...both with beer gardens. Book a night. Or two...
