I know the name of this game is one photo loaded every day but I do batch uploading, never mind though. I have been really busy and it's not all been plain sailing but today I was so close to getting a marvellous photo of the Swan shifting her huge eggs under her and then settling on top of them again. I just didn't get my phone out in time. Once she re-settles she carefully fills any gaps at her body to keep those eggies cosy warm. She is nesting not far from me but I can't be there all the time to capture sightings of the eggs.
From the window I saw a couple with their young daughter on the tow path and I was so amazed! The man was absolute champion at skimming stones (never seen anyone do this on the canal before) every throw was a winner and even skimmed the water as like some bird riding the surface. Incredible.
