Being silly

Early start to get to the Christening by 9.30 (and Wisley junction closed).  It was a lovely service and Theo was a sweetie and didn't cry (although I had a few tears). He wore a Christening gown that was made from my Mum's wedding dress.  She made my sister and I dresses for our first communion and then cut down the dresses for christening outfits for my niece and nephew.  So he wore a dress that was first worn in 1955.  Nice family tradition.

We got back to L&J around 11.00 and it seemed a bit early for the buffet but I had no breakfast so was hungry and a glass of wine went down nicely too.

Lots of chatting and laughing and quick snap of James and No.2 wearing silly hats!

Better day.
