Cosmos season

A sure sign of autumn but what an amazing sight. Fields of these alien plants, brought into SA in the feed for horses during the Anglo Boer war.

The rest of our day was spent getting the lapa ready for lunch on Friday, with the hope that the forecast thunderstorms won’t force us indoors.

We also enjoyed a shared early supper at Franks before settling in to watch the last day of the Masters.
