Day 88. Happenchance.
Day 88.
Grateful for happenchance.
I had a bad dream last night. When I woke up, I looked out the window and saw the moon behind a cloud, reflecting on the loch. The simple beauty settled me, and I managed to get back to sleep.
On my way back from Perth this afternoon, I hoped to squeeze in a walk that was a bit further than the usual hospital visiting car park-ward-car park. I decided to head for Moncrieffe Hill. Somehow, I took a wrong turn and found myself on an unknown road. As I slowed down on a bend, a Buzzard watched me from a fence post. I stopped the car and raked around for my camera bag. By the time I got my camera out, the Buzzard had flown off. I took a look at where I'd parked, realised I was able to access the banks of the River Earn, and spent an enjoyable 90 minutes or so walking.
So, happenchance...
Walk totalled around 2.5 miles today, which will do.
