Malcolm's Memorial
I didn't get any good photographs. Not wanting to invade people's privacy, being so cold my hands were numb, being involved in running the thing, dealing with terrible light under a covered picnic area, being emotional myself: it was just too much.
The extra is some of the members of Malcolm's family, left to right his son seated, his brother buttoning his coat, brother's wife freezing on the bench, and Malcolm's daughter in green, her partner standing behind. (The elder man in the background is a friend, not part of the family.)
A number of people from four generations told stories: what was consistent is that Malcolm was politically passionate, had a wonderful laugh, was a fabulous hugger, and was a stable, persistent presence in the community of people trying to build a better world.
