Towering

Into the woods with
a...Giant??  Or maybe Dad
is really small??  No!

I took this photo when Mr KCNQ2Haiku and Ben had gone on ahead and I thought it was quite striking just how much Ben towers over his Dad now.  Despite what you might think here.. Mr KCNQ2Haiku is not a small person.. it's crazy!  Good job I wasn't in shot or you'd have needed a magnifying glass to find me next to Ben!
Anyway, it's been a good enough day.  Ben and Mr KCNQ2Haiku went into town to Caffè Nero this morning and I did a spring clean of the bedroom, it's one of those rooms I try to keep tidy but rarely properly clean as it doesn't get the footfall of the rest of the house (I know, I know.. excuses, excuses!) but I really hoovered under the bed and on top of the wardrobe and cleaned the windows etc and felt Very Pleased with myself.  Then I got lunch ready, we ate and went to the woods (see photo!) Back home, I spoke to my mum, washed the bedclothes, played a full game of Go for Broke with Ben and I'm now on Fast Forward to bedtime.  The nice thing is that Mr KCNQ2Haiku is off work next week so it doesn't feel like a proper Sunday tonight :-)
