My new favorite mug!

My dear and beautiful friend Glenn made this mug, maybe 20 years ago, and now it is my new favorite mug!   Glenn passed away 11 years ago and i miss him.   When i was moving out here to live with Terry, 16 years ago, he came to help me pack and brought me one of his mugs....i have treasured that mug for all of those 16 years, being very possessive about it, never allowing anyone else to use it!   I dropped it a few months ago and i was heartbroken!   When i told my girls, Morgan reminded me that she had one of his mugs and she was always too afraid to use it in case it broke!!!  So, when i was out in BC last week she gave it to me and it is now mine!   I love this mug, so well made and i can still feel his spirit in it!

A rainy day here, but I'm determined to regain my mobility - which has improved quite a lot since being out west....so my mantra on  my meditation walk this morning was 'patience and caring'....it's so easy for me to feel this improvement, no matter how small it is....and try to get back to a stronger place.   but i am going slow - and luckily at this time of year i have that luxury.
