Heavyweights

Trip to the gym with B this morning, not joined by R as she has a busy day. 

We went round to see R & S at lunchtime to catch up on the news and say cheerio as she heads off for a trip to Nepal. She will be on a trek to Langtang in the Himalayas with a group of ladies. 

We have been in this situation before and I have to keep myself focused and not get stressed. She did Everest base camp in 2012 & 13 over the Christmas holidays, then did Kilimanjaro in 2019, wonderful achievements. 

She is driving down to Heathrow this evening and staying in a hotel tonight.

I am sitting in front of the TV with my knitting, that’s today’s challenge.

I almost forgot to mention the tiling. S is plodding on with the en-suite refitting. His challenge is to get this finished by the time she gets home. These ceramic tiles are  enormous, requiring two people to carry each one up the stairs.
