Colours of Alba detail

Instructions on how to make my quilt Colours of Alba are featured in the September issue of Popular Patchwork magazine just out. In honour of that I took a detailed picture of the quilt. More about it can be found on my blogpost today here.

The humble knapweed from yesterday reached the spotlight pages and in a way this is so fitting as the colours of Scotland have heavily influenced both of my large quilts mentioned above.
