Tweed Bridge, Peebles

The base of the ornamental lamps on Tweed Bridge, Peebles. I think the fish symbol looks quite similar to that used in native American Indian culture and their totem poles! In the distance its possible to see Priorsford Bridge which crosses the River Tweed and the hillfort Lee Penn.

Took a walk into Peebles today and had a wander around the shops. Then came back and made soup and cakes for lunch before watching the golf and having an Indian for tea.
