I wish you still worked here.

I have to say, I really don’t miss SLI at all because I spent most of my days being annoyed at someone or other, but I do miss you a lot.



I can’t do a lunch today, but I could leave right now and be in town for a coffee at 12:45. Unless you are at lunch already. Selfish.

Can’t do today. Lead dev is off so I am ‘helping’ the test team.

Yuck. I hate that. I got that all the time from our testers:

As my work-wife, you are entitled to regular “my day has been RUBBISH” sessions, so when you feel the need for an impromptu, drop me a note. I am free most lunchtimes and happy enough to pop into town for coffee & abuse. 

I went to Pret last week because I was bored and wanted a non-rubbish sandwich, but you were selfishly not in there at the time.

Also, I find myself surrounded by contractors and all they want to talk about is the commute up from London and how to calculate expenses. I need Princess Normality in my life.
