We were fortunate as it was a warm sunny morning for a walk along the banks of the sparkling Tyne between East Linton and Haddington.  Wild cherry blossom and gorse were prevalent in the eastern section with three cornered leeks. and celandines the dominant flowers and numerous butterflies.  The collage shows the ruined Hailes Castle, the cascade near Haddington, the sluice near Sandy’s Mill,  rare purple toothwort flowers and one of the many dandelions popular with butterflies
