Hicks and Goulbourn

I walked the route for the Wildflower and Photography Walk this morning and enjoyed experimenting with my new iPhone. It is certainly streets ahead of my old one for close up photography.

The afternoon was lazy and drowsy.

This evening, Henry and Christine gave me a lift to Wark Town Hall to hear Hicks and Goulbourn playing. They are a guitar and song writing duo who can cope with a wide variety of genres. 

I heard them first at Baafest a few years ago and was so pleased that they were performing near to home. They are BRILLIANT!

The concert finished after 11pm so this is a hastily constructed blip before I collapse into bed. My voice has gone husky and I don't know if I have an infection or if it will just be better in the morning.
