Cloudy day

Unfortunately promised rain never arrived. Actually it was sunny quite a lot. I had some basic vegetable plants to put into my high box. Soil very dry so had digging and breaking it up to do. Finished half of it, and then spread some compost in and finally got the hose pipe to work. Will put remaining plants in tomorrow. Have already got two tomato plants and two aubergine plants in pots.
All watched over by loudly singing blackbird. Nice.

Not much but better than nothing!
