Weeds but pretty

I have a week off from yesterday and I really need it, I've got swept up being so busy at work and working so much overtime, which isn't paid so I don't know why I am doing it.  I think I just want to do a good job and prove myself in my new job, but as a result I am failing at being a good mum and neglecting John and the house.  So time for a reset.  I do like the new job, but I don't like knowing so little and feeling out of my depth every single day.  I think with hind sight it wasn't a great idea to accept the role.  But I will reset and try again when I go back in a week.

Had a lovely day catching up with my friend yesterday and today has been a nice day too.  Took eldest to the optician and she needs glasses, which is expected as she has been struggling to see the board at school.  Extra shows the ones she picked out.  I didn't realise they would be free!
