The day after the wedding

Dunsfold, Surrey ~ Eastbourne, Sussex.

My next bit of chauffeuring is so that dad can see his brother.

Up and out by 11 for our 2 hour drive to our next Airbnb.  We are staying in the Sovereign Harbour area, east of Eastbourne. After unpacking and a cuppa we had a wander to the harbour to explore.  We ended up sitting on a bench watching the world go by in the sunshine. Dad decided to get some chips…. Not just one to share but three large portions ;-D  we wandered back to the house after munching our chips.  Before I went into the house I crossed the road to walk through to the beach area to see the Martello tower (the house is between the harbour to one side and the beach on the other).  We all had a snooze… including me after all the exertions yesterday.

In the evening we walked back to the harbour to enjoy a nice Italian meal with a view of the harbour.
