1144 day of war
Hello, friends!
This week we were hit by bad weather, and winter has returned with frost and snowstorms. It was really sad to see the snow-covered fruit trees that had already started to bloom, and overall, it was unpleasant to dig out winter clothes again. Starting today, the weather is gradually returning to normal, and I’m very happy about that. I really want to go for walks and ride my bike more, not return to winter again.
Overall, I’m feeling quite down at the moment. There’s been almost no work lately. Nastya is working more right now because she received an order for several embroidered patches for the military. I’m trying to make T-shirts and socks while waiting for the warm days when there will be demand for them. Our main job hasn’t brought anything in this month, so we’re trying to save as much as we can and hoping for better days ahead.
In general, it feels like this year is the same as the last one. There’s only talk and statements about the war ending, but in reality, nothing is actually changing. It’s very hard to live for the fourth year in a row as if it’s the same day over and over, with no clear end in sight. Life in this country is truly difficult, and I understand that most people here are in the same situation. I’m trying to hold on, but it’s getting harder each year.
After yesterday’s news that a Chinese citizen was found on the frontlines, it became even more disheartening. What drives people to travel halfway around the world to take part in a war — and on the side of the invader, no less? It’s so strange. A strange perception of war, as if it’s some kind of amusement park where you can just come and kill people without consequences.
I hope it warms up soon and things get a little easier — warm weather always lifts the mood. I believe that everything will be okay.
Thank you all for your support and for helping out on BuyMeACoffee. It really helps cover the rent and get through the tough months. Thank you.
