Tragic little death

I usually do my best to collect little pearls of everyday happiness with my camera-tweezers.
Not today. 
I was inordinately saddened by the pointlessness of the death of this poor wee prickly little mammal. 
A victim of our self-destructive addiction to motorised locomotion. This little hedgehog was collateral damage. 
In a housing estate with a 30km/h speed limit I am quite sure that it should have been possible to avoid the wee little bugger. 
I have a vision of a prick in a black BMW, or a killer granny in a Micra. 

We are a nasty, nasty, useless, doomed species. And we will get what we deserve. 

And it won't be much longer either.
