Salisbury

Today I had a wonderful day out in Salisbury.

First to the Cathedral, which was great, we spoke to staff who were so enthusiastic and knowledgeable, including one of the Chaplins.

He said a wonderful prayer and I had a little emotional moment sitting and thanking God for coming into my life nearly 5 years ago when I felt so lost.

The history at the Cathedral and the stained glass windows are simply stunning, the Chaplin spent some time explaining the windows and where they came from in my main picture, which was very kind of him. We saw the Magna Carta, from which we still use some of the passages in it day to day that make up our laws. It’s amazing how relevant it was even though it was written hundreds of years ago!

The weather was perfect, barely a breeze in the air. A bite to eat at a country pub after and a walk down the river to finish it off.

I feel full up on life today!

Hope you all have a lovely weekend xx
