The bridge

Finally the weather was warm enough and the wind weak enough for us to want to go for a bike ride. So the bag was packed with fika and we went away. We had fika by the river. 
Extra: Then we crossed the new bridge over the river. The old one was removed almost eight years ago, because the town did not think it was worth renovating, which upset the whole town. Then the town messed up countless times by getting a new bridge there. 
Finally we got it a few weeks ago.  Unfortunately I have not found any photo of the old one (although I know I have photos). 
I am not overly fond of the new one. The arches (or whatever they are called) at the top are far too clumsy and high to fit into the environment. 
But, but, we have a bridge on a very frequented pedestrian and bicycle path. You have to be happy about that.
