Warming up in W12

I met my old school pal, Paul, today for lunch at a Damascene restaurant in the Uxbridge Road (very nice, it's where we always go) and then to Loftus Road to watch the Queen's Park Rangers v Bristol City match.  We tend to fit a game in every season - Paul's a QPR member so he sorts the tickets. The main photo shows the match officials in the middle of their pre-kick-off warm-up routine. Not that it wasn't pretty warm to start with.The extra is of a banner displayed by the QPR fans which sums up the essence of what lifelong allegiance to one's team is all about. The match ended in a 1-1 draw, both goals being scored in the lively first half. The game petered out rather in the second half and I could have easily dozed off - specially after that lunch!
